Fall conference series

The history of Richard Ginori is as complex as it is fascinating.

Marco Bondi, director of product development of the historic Florentine design industry spoke extensively about it during the first installment of the fall 2016 conference series at the Accademia Italiana.

A name that through important ups and downs faces the future focusing on luxury but without losing sight of the famous porcelain among the most beloved in Europe.
For the students at the school in Piazza Pitti an exciting story that examined the various production phases, from the choice of materials to the design to the creation of the prototype.
With the entrance of Alessandro Michele as artistic director the industry now focuses on repositioning of the brand at a higher level in the panorama of high quality porcelain.
The next conferences will include other areas of design, welcoming Marzia Corraini of Corraini Publishing, the historic publishers of Bruno Munari and one of the most important Italian names in Graphics and Design (Thursday, November 10); Robert Koch, founder of the Contrasto photography agency, Italian representative of Magnum and founder of the Fondazione Forma in Milan (November 17); and Jamal Taslaq, successful high fashion designer and product of the Fashion Design department of the Accademia Italiana in Florence.
