Fashionable clothes in the workplace

“Fashion on the job” is the name of the project developed by the students in the Fashion Design and the Photography Departments at the Accademia Italiana in Florence and Rome in collaboration with the textile industry Klopman International that will use the results for its own publicity campaign.

A valuable experience for the students who were called upon to create 40 prototypes of work clothes, re-inventing, often in an irreverent style, for a photographic reportage of the best designs that was set in the Klopman industry and warehouses in Frosinone. The final products, designs and photographs, will be shown at the Rome headquarters of the Accademia Italiana in Piazza della Radio n. 46 on November 13 at h. 18,30. The industrial complex of this leader in the international market of industrial textiles is a kind of hangar, 70 thousand square meters, with huge machines in a continual production process that produces 40 million meters of fabric each year, while its Research and Development Center furnishes the Italian know-how to its other factories worldwide. For one day the workers at the Klopman factory were delighted by the sight of photographers, models dressed as ultra-fashionable police officers, nurses with ultra-short skirts, mod-mail carriers and others in trendy work clothes perfect for an ad campaign, photographic exhibition and for the 2015 calendar.
