Sculptured jewelry – sunday photoshoot

Accademia Italiana designers for d’amor

Tommaso Lucarelli, founder and creative director of “D’amor”, a brand of sculptured jewelry inspired by the Divine Comedy, was particularly pleased by the fashion collections created by Irene Baratta, Claudia Piccini and Elisa Lupi and presented in the year-end fashion show of the Accademia Italiana at Obihall.
These young designers, who graduated from the Fashion Design program last May, will see their outfits modelled in the photo shoot for the D’amor ad that will be shot in the historic center of Florence, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. The photographer for the shoot will be Cristina Berti, who also graduated from the Accademia Italiana in May 2016, in Photography, while make-up will be done by former students of the New Line Academy of Florence. Lucarelli’s jewels are tiny artistic masterpieces that exalt the Italian and Christian cultures. “D’amor” is, in fact, a particularly Tuscan term that evokes the Divine Comedy and the birth of the Italian language. While the designer lives abroad, he always carries his Tuscan birthplace in his heart, convinced that here too the importance of artisan arts and crafts, which is considered a feather in our caps in other countries, should be ever more encouraged.
