Ethnic fashion on the catwalk in Rome

Beauty and fashion, meeting places for diverse cultures and aesthetics.We find it in Rome where the fashion event promoted by the association “The Chance” was held.
On the catwalk the collections of six designers, three African and three Italian, among them a graduate of the Accademia Italiana, Valentina Cavoli. The designers highlighted the contamination of colors, tastes and styles and the reality of integration through garments created with fabrics with African prints furnished by the Dutch company Julius Holland. The event, “Mille mode, una moda” (a thousand fashions, one fashion), was held on Sunday, June 15, at the beautiful headquarters of the UNAR (Union of Regional Associations of Rome and Lazio), organized by the association “The Chance” in collaboration with actor, director Claudio Castana. On the catwalk, presented by actress Anna Rita Luongo and shown by the models of Miss Europe Continental, were the creations of the young designers chosen by the artistic director of the event, fashion designer and stylist Roberta Alessi: Aramatou Compaore with Ara Couture (Ivory Coast), Valentina Cavoli, (Florence, Italy, degree in Fashion design from the Accademia Italiana), Alvine Dmanou (Camerun), Valentina Mellace and Khass Diagne (Senegal). The model Denise Kucik for this occasion, wore a garment designed by Antonella Rossi, of Alta Roma, Alta Moda. Following was the performance of Samir Mokhtar, choreographer of oriental dance, and his dancers.
