Interior Design School Italy
The three-year Interior Design School is subdivided into six academic semesters. In the first two semesters (basic Interior design course) the basics of technical drawing and drafting are covered, along with the technology of materials and the first design projects are proposed. The third and fourth are directed at a more specialized training as the student acquires the design capacity both for the single object and for interior spaces. At the end of the three-year programs students are admitted into the Design Masters program.
The Design School students are encouraged to use the most varied materials, including new, experimental materials. The Interior Design course will cover the development of design on an industrial scale and also "one of a kind" design. Traditional design instruments will be used (pencils, rapidograph, drafting tables, etc.) together with the computer (CAD). Historical and theory aspects complete the design school training process.
External activities make up an integral part of the course, (participation in exhibitions, learning trips, contests, etc.) along with the internal seminars and workshops (encounters with designers and experts, seminars and practical laboratories).
