HOW TO ENROLL
In order to enroll in the
courses of the Accademia Italiana the student must send
the following (via email, fax, snail mail)to the secretary's
office at least 45 days before the beginning of the
chosen course:
a) the completed enrollment form (download the Enrollment
form and the Rules
- .Pdf files; you can also use the one found in the
printed catalog, furnished by the secretary's office)
b) a photocopy of a personal document (passport for
foreign students);
c) photocopy of diploma;
d) the enrollment fee for the chosen course (download
our
Price List - .Pdf file) ;
e ) Students requesting admission to an academic level
other than the basic level (direct admission into the
second or third semester of the academic courses) or
seeking admission into the Masters courses must also
send a detailed curriculum of studies completed along
with photographs or photocopies of finished works. (originals
will not be accepted, these materials will not be returned).
An entrance commission will evaluate the documentation.
Adobe Reader (or compatible software) is required to
open the files, download
it for free.

DATES OF ACADEMIC SEMESTER
The academic semesters of the Accademia Italiana are
held according to the following calendar (which may
include some small variation):
Academic courses: From September 9 to December 21 -
From January 14 to May 24.
Master Courses: From October 1 to May 24.
Important: enrollement for the courses
choosen must be sent to the secretary's office of the
Accademia Italiana at least 45 days before the beginning
of the course. Students may begin all academic programs
either in September or in January.
The exact schedual of lessons will be given at the beginning
of each academic semester. Lessons may be held either
in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the
availability of classrooms and laboratories.
The staff of the Accademia is always available to offer
futher information and to assist students individually
with the academic and technical requirements of the
school.
ACCOMODATION ARRANGEMENTS
The school helps the students to find housing in Florence
in rooms and student apartments. Students requesting
the housing arrangements, once enrollment is completed,
will be placed in contact with landlords and will make
contracts and payments directly with them.
