The Accademia Italiana offers two masters courses each lasting one year "Interior and product design" and "Fashion as Art". These courses are open to a limited number of students (max 25 per course), they begin in October and finish in May. To be accepted into the program students must send a curriculum of studies and photocopies of design works. All applications will be examined by the entrance commission and the results will be sent to the applicants within a short time. These masters courses are open to students of the Accademia Italiana who have completed the academic courses as well as to students coming from other schools and universities.

Interior and product design
In this highly specialized course the design of furnishings is develped both on an industrial scale (industrial design) and on an artisan scale (artistic design). The relationships between the single design object and its surrounding space in a closed environment (interior design) and in an open environment (garden and urban design) are analyzed. New ecological materials and advanced production systems are examined. The strategies of visual communications and the evolution of design theory are discussed.
This program is dedicated to students who have already acquired basic knowledge and who wish to complete their training in an effective manner in synthesis with the most innovative trends, putting together the creativity typical of "made in Italy" to a design that interprets the most advanced possibilities offered by industry.
