Recently, an encounter was held between the president of the University of Wales (UK), Dr. Marc Clement, and the president of the Accademia Italiana, Dr. Vincenzo Giubba.
The two Institutes have confirmed their reciprocal intention to continue the collaboration that began over seven years ago.
The University of Wales, recently united with two other UK universities (Swansea and Trinity Saint David Universities) will be at the head of the new project of "Global Education" that will involve approximately 40 universities chosen from among the best schools in the world.
The Accademia Italiana of Art, Fashion and Design with its two schools in Florence and in Rome will take an active part in this project, representing Italy in the fields of fashion, design and photography.
The agreement that will be signed in 2012 also involves the accreditation and recognition of international studies and degrees.
