Claudio Nardi was born in Prato in 1951 and graduated from the University of Florence.

As well as his many architectural achievements, Claudio has designed interiors, furniture and a range of products for renowned Italian manufacturers (Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferre', Valentino, Tod's, and Luisa Via Roma). 

He has an evolving fascination for both new and traditional materials and an understanding of the importance of the use of light in good design. With his meticulous eye for detail, he produces solutions which are always highly sensitive to their function and to their location.

His architectural work, both in Italy and internationally, includes cultural, civic, hospitality and residential projects. His design for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, built around the former Schindler factory in Krakow, won much international acclaim including "International Biennial Barbara Capocchin Prize for Architecture_2011" and "International Prize Dedalo Minosse to the Client in Architecture_2011".

Among recent projects are New Town Hall in Krakow, Publishers Headquarters,  Apartments Building and Riva Lofts Hotel  in Florence, the building of Port Authority in Marina di Carrara,  Vertex Tower and Office Building in Amman (Jordan ), as well as many private residences.
He is a regular visiting lecturer at universities both in Italy and abroad, and his work has been published in a number of prestigious publications including
Claudio has won numerous architectural competitions and prize.
