Transcripts

As an American university student, you may enroll in the Accademia Italiana’s study abroad programs in Italy for college credit transfer back to your home institution. If you are interested in taking courses at the Accademia Italiana for college credit, you should schedule an appointment with your study abroad advisor or academic advisor to review the Accademia Italiana course syllabi and to select a number of courses you would like to take while studying abroad. Your advisor will determine which courses will transfer back to your home institution. The Accademia Italiana strongly urges students to request credit approval prior to departing the U.S.

Within approximately 6 weeks of the end of a study abroad program, all students receive an Accademia Italiana transcript by mail. Students may also make arrangements to have an official transcript mailed directly to his or her home institution. Students will receive detailed information on these procedures during their on-site orientation and throughout their term in Italy.

All design courses and degrees are validated and awarded by the University of Wales. The certificate and liberal arts program at the Accademia Italiana are recognized by various colleges, universities and institutes within the United States.
