Rome, October 3, 2025
Created in collaboration with the Italian Management Association as part of “Female Entrepreneurship,” a program funded by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy with resources from the PNRR – Next Generation EU funds and managed by Invitalia, the National Agency for Investment Attraction, the “Make IT a Case” contest is a national competition aimed at students enrolled in three-year and master's degree courses in management.
Our first-year students in the two-year MA course in Fashion Design and Management, Alice Costantini, Angela Dipalma and Anna Marciano, led by professor Barbara Annunziata, participated in the competition, winning the local and then national selections and reaching the final five projects, out of 106 projects submitted by 24 participating universities.
The aim of the project is to encourage young women to participate in entrepreneurial initiatives and to promote female leadership in business management. Teams of students, mostly female, worked with a local company (SME or start-up) and developed a business case which, based on the company's success factors, proposes an innovation linked to the themes of sustainability, digital and/or energy transition.
The final presentation of the projects took place in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, during the event Talents, Institutions, and Businesses for Female Empowerment. The initiative highlighted the commitment of MIMIT and Invitalia to strengthening female leadership, promoting the results achieved and the opportunities offered by the PNRR through the Female Entrepreneurship Program.
