Design (Interior and Product Design)

Accademia Italiana offers three options for the three-year Bachelor's degree program in Design: an Italian language program (recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education - Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca, D.L. n. 76 del 04/02/2013) and an English language program in which the degree is accredited by Nottingham Trent University - UK. The Accademia Italiana also offers the possibility of attending an integrated program of studies allowing students to earn both academic titles (first level academic diploma recognized by MIUR and UK Bachelor's Degree).Students who complete this program can request direct admission into the Interior and Product Design Master's degree program at Accademia Italiana in Florence.

Course Dates:

- First level diploma course recognized by MIUR: October 23
- Internatioal bachelor's degree program: October 23
- Integrated program: October 23

This program, which prepares students for the profession of Interior Designer, covers the development of design projects on an industrial scale as well as "one-of-a-kind" design. Students will use both traditional design instruments and specialized computer software. Design history and theory will complete the training process.

Activities outside of the classroom, such as visits to exhibits, educational trips and participation in competitions, are an integral part of the course, as are special activities such as encounters with designers and experts in the field, seminars and practical laboratories.

The skills and knowledge acquired during this Design program will prepare students for successful careers in the design world whether as independent designers or industry professionals.
