The Accademia Italiana in Asia

The Accademia Italiana study programs offered in Bangkok at the Chanapatana Institute (programs in Fashion Design and in Interior and Product Design) continute to prove successful. The creation of some of these students were presented during the Bangkok Fashion Week held in August at the Queen Siritit Convention Centre, receiving the praise of the fashion press as well as of the general public.

Cooperation and exchange programs in China between the Accademia Italiana and the Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology and the XiAn Academy of Fine Arts continue. Another group of chinese students coming from the famous Beijing university has been selected to attend the programs at the Accademia Italiana in Florence.

On August 22, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Accademia Italiana and Chung-Ang University (South Korea). This agreement provides for the exchange of professors and students, collaboration in research and activities, the preparation of a publication and the organization of conferences on specific topics.
