Accademia Italiana and University of Wales

Validation of the bachelor's degrees in Fashion Design, Interior and Product Design, Graphic Design, Production and Set Design has been approved by the prestigious University of Wales, the second largest university in Great Britain (more than 90.000 students enrolled).

With the accreditations of these courses the students of the Accademia Italiana will be able to receive both the diploma from the Accademia Italiana and the university degree awarded by the University of Wales. This degree, recognized at an international level, is an important fact for our students.
The degree programs chosen for validation for the Florence institute are: Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior and Product Design. In Rome the proposed programs refer to those design professions linked to cinema and theater: Production and Set Design, and Costume Design. All degree programs are three year study programs.

For each year a specific qualification is awarded.
First year: Diploma (basic level) from the Accademia Italiana and certificate from the University of Wales.
Second year: Diploma (professional level) from the Accademia Italiana and diploma from the University of Wales.
Third year: Diploma (advanced level) from Accademia Italiana and bachelor's degree (BA Hons) awarded by the University of Wales.
Students receiving the bachelor's degree can attend the Masters program proposed by the institute.
