- Understand and interpret the various cultural and artistic tendencies
- Technical competency in virtual modelling and prototyping
- Understand and critically analyse artisan and industrial goldsmith production
- Examine the role of jewelry, both commercial and artistic, beyond cultural, historical and social confines
- Evaluation of the commercial impact of jewelry production
