Orientation

Accademia Italiana offers its new students a few days of orientation before the start of courses.

During this period, the school’s staff provides information about the school and its workshops. Students receive a guide about the school and another about Florence, which includes information about discounts and promotions for AI students.

A guided tour of Florence introduces students to the artistic beauty of the city and the main locations that are useful in daily life, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, train stations, bus stations, etc.

Information is provided about various extra-curricular activities, travelling, gyms, health and safety, and using the banks, mail and telephones.

Guidance is provided to non-European students in compiling the paperwork required to request a residency permit. All of the necessary documentation is collected and reviewed by the secretarial staff. Students are guided through each step required to obtain an electronic residency permit.

During this period, students interested in taking Italian classes will be evaluated so that they can be placed in the appropriate class level. Accademia Italiana offers its new students a few days of orientation before the start of courses.
