Florence, June 9, 2025 - Firenze Rocks meets Design with graphic workshops
Florence, June 9, 2025
When music meets graphics, something explosive is born. For the 2025 edition of Firenze Rocks, the famous musical event merges with the creative inspiration of Accademia Italiana which this year has given birth to a collaboration that celebrates the indissoluble link between music and visual communication. A partnership that takes shape with a series of workshops open to the public, which will take place within the festival area, on June 12, 13 and 15 (in the times 15-17 and 17-19), dedicated to graphics.
In addition to this, the official manifesto of Firenze Rocks 2025 will bring the signature of a young promise of Accademia Italiana: Sara Costantini, 21 years old, Graphic Design student and passionate about music since childhood. With her motto "Take things one song at a time", Sara has created an opera that perfectly captures the energy and identity of the festival, using as its protagonist Michelangelo’s David.
THE WORKSHOPS - Registration for the workshops is free and can be made directly at the entrance of the concert. Participation is reserved for ticket holders.
Among the events scheduled are "Rockin' Typo", led by Manuel Alvaro (Thursday 12 June), which invites participants to experiment with typography through unconventional approaches, and "Music Disc- over" with Gianluca Piovesan (Friday 13 June), which explores the contamination between design and recording industry, between collage, photography and illustration. But that’s not all: on Sunday, June 15, the public will be able to contribute to the creation of a collective mural, the "Wishin' Wall", curated by Bianca Sangalli Moretti and Daniele Mariti, teachers and visual artists, who will transform the interaction of participants into a choral work, expression of the beating heart of Firenze Rocks.
"The graphics has always been the travel companion of music - explains Alessandro Colombo, Director of Accademia Italiana. - From a vinyl cover to a concert poster, visual communication has the power to tell a sound, an era, a style. This project celebrates precisely that historical union, opening it to the future". A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative experience without borders, where young talents, enthusiasts and spectators become protagonists. Firenze Rocks is not just music: it’s art, vision and energy to live and share.
