Students of the Graphic Design school visit: La Nazione

A necessary and educational experience each year providing direct contact with the world of publishing for the Graphic Design students of the Accademia Italiana.

Accompanied by their professor, Fadi Bassil, the fourth semester students visited the headquarters of the daily newspaper La Nazione allowing the young designers to see firsthand the world of mass media and communications.

Thanks to the organization of a guided tour which included viewing of a special film, the students were introduced to the history of the newspaper.
They were then invited to visit the offices of the reporters and see the printing techniques used by the newspaper of the past century, from the linotype printing presses used at the end of the 1800's to the more modern system of computerized printing.
