Florence, October 25, 2024 - Young designers create original patterns and graphics for a Florentine publishing house
Florence, October 25, 2024
Starting in October, students of the senior year of the Graphic Design Bachelor Degree Course will have the opportunity to work on a project related to the cultural heritage of Florence. In collaboration with Mandragora, a prestigious Florentine publishing house founded in 1985, young creative people will be called to develop graphic proposals inspired by iconic symbols of Florence: from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to the Museum of the Opera del Duomo.
The project will aim to create original graphic elements for screen printing, to be applied to fabric shoppers and bags. Guided by the teacher and coordinator Walter Conti, students will explore patterns and artistic details inspired by Florentine architecture and works, with the aim of transforming them into contemporary design proposals.
The project will allow students to relate with a valued activity of the territory reinterpreting in modern key the artistic and cultural heritage of Florence.
