Microcosmo Confession: the new issue curated by the academies

Presented the new annual magazine of Palazzo Strozzi in collaboration with Tuscan art academies. Among the curators are also Photography and Graphic Design students of Accademia Italiana, active protagonists in the design and content of this important editorial initiative.

From the exhibition Tracey Emin. Sex and Solitude comes the new issue of Palazzo Strozzi’s annual editorial project. Microcosmo – Confession, presented on Wednesday, 2 July, explores the theme of confession by creating a collaborative space for young artists, designers, and curators.

The magazine was developed with the contribution of students from art academies across Tuscany. Among them, Accademia Italiana played an active role through the participation of young designers from the Photography and Graphic Design courses.

The students involved in the project were guided in their discovery of the exhibition Tracey Emin. Sex and Solitude by receiving research materials, taking part in collective review sessions, and engaging directly with artists. Participating in the creation of the project represented a meaningful opportunity for these young creatives to engage with the world of contemporary art and editorial design.
