How to become a fashion photographer

Watching the great masters pursue their own ambitions is not enough. It takes the techniques that one learns only attending a special course. This is what the team of instructors teaches in the one year Photography program inaugurated this year at the Accademia Italiana Rome.

A specialized program centered on Fashion Photography that in one year concentrates the basic elements. From the basics to specialized knowledge this course is not directed only at beginners but also designed for professional who wish to further their knowledge of fashion photography. Off to a great start this year the program offers theory lessons accompanied by a series of workshops with professional models giving students the opportunity to experiment and develop the techniques studied. Each student has the chance to express his own creativity, perhaps inspired by the great masters of photography who have made history with their work. Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 – 2017 academic year, which will be underway in the fall. This one year program in Rome offers a different study opportunity than the 3-year degree program in Photography which covers everything from portraits to still life, photojournalism to landscapes, offered at the Florence headquarters, as the Rome program concentrates attention on fashion photography.
