Marina Sokolov
Marina Sokolov
Marina Sokolov, 3rd year graphic design student, is the winner of the competition held by the Rotary Club (Certosa Firenze - Calenzano - Sesto Fiorentino).
Marina's work has been selected from a wide range of ideas born from the creativity of the students of graphic design and product design courses of Accademia Italiana, international institute for fashion and design.
The jury chose the innovative idea that considered both the creative concept and its nearness to the philosophy of the Rotary Club.
The theme of the competition concerned ideas for new objects for the Rotary circuit.
The winner's project is a compass that can become a clock, or a paperweight.
The awards ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Accademia Italiana, in the beautiful Loggia Temple Leader, with the representatives of the Rotary Club, the President of the Accademia Italiana, Vincenzo Giubba, and the students of graphic design and product design.
All projects can be viewed on the websites of the Accademia Italiana and Rotary Club, while the winning project will be produced and distributed in the Rotary internal circuit.
