A day with Leica – take 2

A photography exhibition in the Loggia

Imagine models that pose in front of the photographer on a busy city street. An ideal journey through the center of historic Florence becomes the backdrop for the photography exhibition that will be inaugurated on June 12th at 7 pm in the Loggia of the Temple Leader building, headquarters of the Accademia Italiana.

The second edition of the project entitled: “A day with Leica” has once again allowed the students in the bachelor’s degree program of Photography first hand practice with the famous brand camera, furnished by the Florentine store that partners in the project. Next week, to celebrate Pitti Uomo, we will see models wearing made in Italy denim fashion provided a leader in the field, Re-Hash, that operates out of the textile district of Val Vibrata in the Abruzzo Region.

The garments furnished by Re-Hash were immortalized by Camilla Pane and Lapo Del Bubbo, recent graduates of the bachelor’s degree program at the Accademia Italiana and stylists of this project, coordinated by Paolo Colaiocco, instructor of Fashion Photography. Arianna Loiacono, make-up artist from New Line Academy and Marina Mardari and Shpresa Cani of the Polverini Hair Academy assisted with the preparation of the models. The event is sponsored by the Leica Academy Italia. Lof
