From fashion designer Marina Spadafora, to scientific communicator Massimo Temporelli, to the designer Matteo Cibic and the pioneer of gamification, Fabio Viola. A parterre de roi with transversal skills to inspire new generations of creatives through the success stories of great interpreters of the fashion system and innovation.
On the occasion of Pitti Uomo 107, Accademia Italiana brings to the cinema "La Compagnia" in Florence "NIMI - La Nuova Intelligenza del Made in Italy", a conference dedicated to exploring how creativity, technology and eco-sensitivity are redefining Made in Italy. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, from 6 to 8 pm and will bring together some of the most important disseminators, innovators and creatives to offer ideas and reflections useful to inspire enthusiasts and curious people through their views on the future of national excellence.
Meeting the new generations of creative will be Marina Spadafora, world-renowned fashion designer and ethical fashion ambassador for Fashion Revolution Italy; Matteo Cibic, art director of Delvis Unlimited and creator of amazing projects; Francesca Rulli, founder and CEO of Process Factory, the 4sustainability brand that assists fashion companies to support the transition; Massimo Temporelli, physicist who for 20 years has been involved in the dissemination of scientific and technological culture and innovation; Fabio Viola, pioneer of gamification with experiences in video game multinationals on titles such as FIFA, The Sims and Crash Bandicoot; Tommaso Valente, CEO and Founder of Mirror. Admission is free and open to the public by reservation. At the end of the conference there will be an invited party, with light dinner, drink and dj set, in the Accademia Italiana’s premises, in Piazza de' Pitti, 15 in Florence.
"NIMI will be a new starting point on the new intelligences of Made in Italy - explains country manager of the group AD Education Alessandro Colombo. - We chose Florence to start from here a moment of confrontation with a series of talks with professionals of creativity, to tell us how the new technologies can change the scenario that we know, in an optic not of substitution of the human being, but of supporting and enhancing creative skills. For this reason, at Accademia Italiana we have changed the teaching methods, to make our students more interact with new tools of artificial intelligence and new technologies. An effort that is paying us more than expected: since the end of the pandemic, Accademia Italiana has doubled the number of students enrolled and the relationship with companies and today we are part of a network that counts 19 schools and 70 locations throughout Europe".
But Pitti Uomo is also Pitti People and will be on the occasion of the first day of Florentine fashion week that Accademia Italiana, in collaboration with the Leica Store Firenze, organizes a special Photowalk dedicated to the students of the departments of Fashion Design and Photography, an exclusive session of street photography on the theme of Pitti People, to explore the fashion and energy of the Florentine streets during Pitti Uomo, capturing details and moments with the unmistakable Leica style.
In its journey of valorization of talent and the relationship with the excellences of fashion, for Pitti Immagine Uomo 107, Accademia Italiana will bring to show in Fortezza da Basso the collaboration with the historic British company Aquascutum that, thanks to the students and students of the 2nd year of the Biannual Specialistico in Fashion Design and Management and in Graphic Design, has given life to the creation of a genderless collection for Eiderscutum, brand of the group, realizing a project that, through design, branding and storytelling, looks to the future of fashion.
