Design During The Art of the Brick exhbition From childhood onward, play is the most direct aspect of life with which we are confronted: in playing we speak, we move, we discover, we grow, we learn. The concept of the game brings together playful aspects with those related to learning and to the individual's growth, regardless of his or her motor skills and mental capacity, studying the relationship between space and play. The PLAY UP!
Project takes place in a three-day brainstorming workshop (February 3, 4 and 5, 2016) open to the public, in which “play” is related to three fundamental aspects of growth: Play \ Learning Play \ Moviement Play \ Integration
In analyzing the actions of children while they play, various concepts will be developed through the study of the senses, embracing above all visual, auditory, tactile and perceptive aspects. Diverse aspects and environments of play will be considered, including playgrounds, pre-schools, and traditional toys and games. During the three days of brainstorming the students, assisted by instructors Filippo Pernisco and Christian Ludovici, will create research boards synthesizing their reflections, presenting three meta-projects in a seminar on February 6, which will involve all who have taken part in the project, including representatives of institutions from the world of Art and Design.
