Fashion Design students in Florence
On March 31st Francesco Martini Coveri, fashion designer of the Enrico Coveri Maison since 2002, was guest speaker for students of the Fashion design department at the Florence campus of the Accademia Italiana.
The conference focused on the history of the world famous Fashion House in relation to the development of the fashion system in Italy and to the changes in the market over the past decades.
Coveri's conference was the latest in a long line of meetings offered by the Accademia Italiana to its fashion design students, with the aim to develop their knowledge of the fashion world through direct contacts with top professionals in the field.
The lecture was well attended and much appreciated by the many students who participated in the event.
This conference closed the the 2010/2011 program of talks on various design-related themes. The next official appointment on the School calendar is the design exhibition and year-end fashion show which will be held on April 16th at the Saschall Theater in Florence, with over 2,000 guests from around the globe.
