About Fashion Photography

Portraits of the final projects made by the fashion design students have been taken in the photo studio of the Accademia in Rome.

“I would like to take photos of all the collections” said Alessio Giubba (Board of directors and COO in Rome and photographer) “unfortunately there were too many outfits and I didn’t make it. I’m sure that all of the students will have the chance to take photos of their clothes collaborating together with their colleagues from the photography department. I had the opportunity to do so myself whilst I was studying photography. I’m convinced that collaboration between departments is not only stimulating, but also a necessary experience”.

After the introduction of the fashion photography course and the accreditation of the three year photography program by the Ministry of Education (MIUR), the Accademia Italiana in Rome is becoming a reference point for photographers in the capital city.
