FLORAL DESIGN

The Design universe expands betting on Floral design, an upcoming discipline that this year has its own festival which will debut in Rome in the month of October.

Partner of the Festival is the Accademia Italiana Arte Moda e Design, Rome campus, that will involve emerging photographers to realise a project linked to the themes of the festival. Amongst these, 8 photographers will be selected to participate in a portfolio review and 3 will have the possibility to exhibit their projects on 29 October during the finissage of the exhibition: “Qui, Altrove”, curated by Manuela Tognoli, in the Label201 gallery. Tania Alineri will follow the project for the Accademia, and will also realise a photographic work of the festival. The three-day event - staged at Portuense 201, an urban microcosm of ideas, production and generation of a contemporary aesthetic – has the objective of pushing the culture of floral design with particular emphasis on the organic and symbolic value of the flower. “For the Accademia Italiana – says Filippo Pernisco – the photographer Tania Alineri will follow the project, and will in turn create a photographic project of the Festival”.
