The art historian and critic Philippe Daverio, who passed away during the night between the first and second of September, is still a living memory in the halls of the Accademia Italiana.

In 2017 he inaugurated with Oliviero Toscani the year-end Photography, Graphic and Design Exhibition that was held in the Complesso delle Murate in Florence.

 

His brilliant conference on art and on the approach that a young person should have with this complex and fascinating universe, as he defined it, offered rich answers to the many questions from the future talents present in the room.
