Milan Fashion Week shows seen by students of Fashion Design course

Another opportunity for confrontation between the school and the real world, between creativity and the concrete marketplace. At just days after the Milan fashion shows it is time for a synthesis in order to better focus on styles and trends, to discover how we will dress during the spring-summer 2013 season.

Here is a brief report elaborated by some students of the fashion school of the Accademia Italiana that we publish together with some illustrations done by Franca Lottini.

"1950's, 60's, 70's, what will we choose from our wardrobes for the next spring/summer season? We could certainly run through the thousands of proposals offered by the designers and would easily find many common points. To begin with the prints, and the colors, even psychedelic, breezy dresses made in light-weight and super-light weight fabrics, no more women with tightly wrapped garments, while the legs will be in plain sight. The desire to be sexy is not dead. Women want to continue to dream, whether these dreams materialize in dresses with fantastic geometric designs or whether they have oriental inspiration in the cut and in the accessories.

Let's say it: the feeling is optimistic, of a renewed creativity. This feeling is common in all of the collections, whether they are aimed at a clean, chic line or whether they play with high slits and Volant. Milan fashion proposed a luminous woman, full of charm that depending on her character can become strong and refined, tribal and glamorous. Another interesting "must" are the details created through artisan craft that we find in the accessories and that highlight the desire to present the highest quality of the product "Made in Italy" through courageous ideas that reflect a renewed enthusiasm in the designers and the industry."
