Florence, July 14, 2025

Accademia Italiana is present at the opening of Cortona On The Move, from 17 to 20 July, with the personal exhibition of two students of the Bachelor’s course of Photography in Florence and Rome.

The participation of young photographers Antonio Brondi and Tόna Fritsdόttir in the OTM Academy program represents an important opportunity for artistic and professional growth. In addition to the exhibition of their works, the two emerging talents will have the opportunity to take part in exclusive workshops and training sessions designed to stimulate discussion, deepen photographic techniques and develop new creative visions.

Antonio Brondi, second year student of the Bachelor’s course in Photography of the Florence campus, presents 'Modern Gods', a visual survey on the protagonists and main donors involved in the US presidential campaign for the Republican party, which led to the election of Donald Trump.
Through a documentary approach and authorial research, the project combines passion for American politics with reflection on the media use of images.

Tόna Fritsdόttir, newly graduated student of the Bchelor’s course in Photography of the Roman campus, brings to the exhibition 'Echoes of Identity", a photographic series that interweaves the visual codes of fashion photography with those of conceptual research exploring the themes of posthumanism, technology, perception.
Using a combination of camera effects and digital manipulation, the images challenge traditional representations of the body and question how we construct and deconstruct ourselves into imagined futures.
