Eight lectures with visionary professionals from 28 November to June

An hour in the company of architects, designers, photographers and creatives to be inspired by those who have been able to look beyond the boundaries of their profession: one Tuesday a month, free admission. From this year the program doubles in Rome, with as many appointments to live or review online.

"A School with a View" is a series of motivational meetings open to the public and students enrolled in the school in Florence and Rome. Eight lectures until June, starting Tuesday, November 28, to spend an hour in the company of architects, designers engaged in sustainability, festival creators, photographers.

The appointments return to the Florentine headquarters with a view at 1pm, to enjoy the conversations at lunch time. This year the program also doubles in the new headquarters of San Lorenzo in Rome, with as many appointments to live on the same dates, but at 5.30pm for happy hour, or to be watched online on the YouTube channel of Accademia Italiana.

 

To open the exhibition in the Florentine headquarters of Piazza Pitti 15, Tuesday, November 28 at 1pm Lisa Marie Proteau in art Almost Fiorentina, Tik Toker and Digital Creator Canadian close to 180 thousand followers. In Florence on December 12 to "rise in the chair" will be Matilde Sereni, co-founder of Lungarno, historical free press spread in Florence for over 10 years, also known for the creative covers on which have ventured artists, graphic designers, emerging and acclaimed creatives. On January 9, the appointment is with Francesca Pievani, cofounder of Fili Pari, Fashion-Tech startup that aims to create new relationships between people and the environment, a balance between the needs of the individual and the use of natural resources by providing sustainable textile solutions, through the development of new products from unexpected raw materials, enhancing unique and inimitable materials, giving them a new form and function. On February 13 will be the turn of Manuel Alvaro, Creative director and local ambassador of the Art Directors Club Italiano, while on March 12 here is Claudio Nardi, award-winning architect: among his projects the Museum of contemporary art in Krakow, the Vertex Tower in Amman, as well as the interiors of Luisa Via Roma, Felice Limosani’s studio in Florence, some of the Dolce & Gabbana stores around the world.

Tuesday, April 23 to tell their experience will be Luca Mazzoncini, Art Director and Director of the creative studio Diaframma, active campaigns for Disney and Marvel, while May 7 Tommaso Rosa, Marketing Manager, Brand and Communication for Autolinee Toscane will illustrate how to be contemporary patrons in the world of culture and in particular in that of photography with the innovative projects promoted by the local public transport company in recent years. Selene Micheletti, Co-founder, Design & sustainability consultant for DAMō Studio. Extensive experience in the fashion industry as an accessory designer, combined with a love of nature and the environment, has led her to conduct in-depth research on strategies that can have a positive impact on the fashion industry, prioritizing creativity.

 

In Rome follows on Tuesday 12 December Martina Loncar, Jewellery designer & Jewellery maker, and on 9 January Gian Marco Sanna, Curator for Discarded Magazine and Co-founder of L.I.S.A.. Double appointment in Rome and Florence for Manuel Alvaro, Creative director and Local ambassador of Art Directors Club Italiano Tuesday, February 13. It will then be the turn of Lucrezia Moro, Brand & Fabric Ecodesigner for Bilulu on March 12 followed on April 23 by Valeria Oppenehimer, Fashion reporter TV Author, RAI journalist and fashion teacher.

On Tuesday, May 7th, Domitilla Dardi, Curator of Design at the MAXXI Museum in Rome, professor of Design History, founder and curator of EDIT Napoli, the designer design fair, will recount her experience. To conclude the Roman exhibition on June 11 will be Laura Astrologo Porche, Journalist expert in jewelry for Journal des Bijoux.
