Florence, June 12, 2025
The creative energy of Accademia Italiana students takes center stage once again thanks to a new collaboration with COIN, this time in the heart of Florence.
Following the success of the partnership at the Cola di Rienzo store in Rome, the project now arrives in Tuscany, at the COIN store in Piazza del Grano, Florence, involving students from the Photography and Fashion Design programs. The goal is to tell the story of the brand through a visual and contemporary narrative that blends style, research, and experimentation.
The highlight of this edition will be the store windows, designed by second-year students of the Master's Degree in Fashion Design. Inspired by the theme YOUTHOPIA — chosen by Accademia Italiana for the final works — the installations will offer a creative reinterpretation of COIN’s identity through original concepts and innovative design visions. Featured in the windows will be a selection of garments created by graduating Fashion Design students, also developed as part of their final works.
Complementing the project is the contribution of Photography students: third-year students from the Bachelor’s Degree will handle the shooting of the garments displayed in the windows, ensuring a visually cohesive narrative between image and concept. Meanwhile, first-year students from the Master’s Degree in Photography will produce still life shoots focused on garments, accessories, and home décor items.
The project will culminate in a dedicated event at the store, scheduled during Pitti Immagine Uomo 108, one of the most important events in the international fashion scene.
This collaboration represents a concrete opportunity for students to engage with the retail world, where design vision, visual language, and professional dynamics come together to shape a comprehensive and genuinely contemporary learning experience.
