Custom-made furniture for Belvedere

Florence, November 14, 2024 - Product Design students’ project for the Tuscan company

New partnership with Belvedere, a Tuscan furniture company renowned internationally. The students of the senior year of the Master Degree Course in Product Design, led by the teacher and coordinator Lorenzo Pofferi, will support the design and development team of the company for the realization of custom furniture for international projects.

Accademia Italiana and the design company Belvedere, leader in the sector of bespoke furniture, cooperate for the first time in a creative project for Design students. This partnership will offer senior year students of the Product Design Master’s Degree a unique opportunity to get in touch with the professional world of design.

As part of this collaboration, students will be involved in a concrete project to support the design and development team at Belvedere, actively participating in the realization of custom and tailor-made furniture for international projects in the contract and private sector. Based on the concepts provided by the company, the students will be responsible for developing products, researching materials and adapting them to the specific needs of the project, taking into account costs, production phases and delivery times.

This practical experience represents an extraordinary opportunity for students, who will be able to test the skills acquired during their academic journey, collaborating with a team of professionals and confronting real market challenges.
