THE RETRO’ FASHION OF HENRY AND MISATO

Henry Kof Nguyen and Misato Miyazaki are ready for the big test. Graduates in May 2018 in Fashion Design at the Accademia Italiana, the two designers will launch their collection on the runway on March 30.

Fine fabrics, from silk to wool, inspired by various periods of Costume History, create an alternative collection where retrò details find meaning in the modern day. Where Henry prefers fluttering garments in organza, silk or taffeta, Misato seeks a modern interpretation of period garments that she creates in wool or gabardine. Three students of the final year of Photography, Angelo Germini, Francesco Lavelli and Daniele Zampini, will shoot a reportage on the show and the backstage preparations.
