Design beyond limits

The One-YearMaster in Design Craft trains designers with deep knowledge of production processes, techniques and market of the artisanal product and "Made in Italy", enhancing the contemporary artistic craftsmanship typical of Tuscany. This training course studies new artistic and technological languages, creating a dialogue between tradition and contemporary to produce timeless objects.

Central is the study of communication and innovative strategies for art and brand development for small and medium-sized enterprises and artistic crafts. The Master focuses on research and training in new processes of design and management of the supply chain, linking handicraft to market needs and new contemporary lifestyles.

  • - to train designers who are experts in the design of innovative products in terms of languages and uses, making use of local craft and manufacturing skills;

    - to develop detailed knowledge and mastery of craft techniques, as well as new technologies;

    - encourage a professional approach, through training in economic and ethical aspects, The Commission’s proposal for a Council Directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the carriage of goods by road is now being considered.

    • Requirements for admission and documents to submit for enrollment
    • 12 years of previous schooling background are necessary to apply to official degrees in Italy. If you do not meet this requirement, you can attend our Foundation Year pre-requisite program or enroll into the non-degree versione program (private diploma from Accademia Italiana)
