A School with a View: the appointments on November 28th

"A School with a View" is a series of motivational meetings open to the public and students enrolled in the school in Florence and Rome. Eight lectures until June, startingTuesday, November 28, to spend an hour in the company of architects, designers engaged in sustainability, festival creators, photographers.

Born in Canada, Lisa-Marie Proteau moved to Italy, to Florence to be exact, at the age of 19. Love for the city or for cooking, however, had nothing to do with it this time. The choice to change country and move away from America was made because of a great sorrow. Passionate about communication and fashion, she writes about travel, lifestyle and Italy on her blog 'Almost Fiorentina', but above all she speaks and teaches the Florentine dialect on TikTok, with an accent so perfect that it makes native Tuscans envious. On Tuesday 28 November, she will tell us how she became Almost Fiorentina and present a special project for Accademia Italiana students.

Andrea Pirrello is a set and key-art photographer based in Rome, Italy. After graduating with a Master's degree in Photography Direction from the ESCAC School in Barcelona and working for several years on Spanish and French productions in set photography, he returned to Italy in 2010 and specialised in set photography for film and theatre. His recent credits include Sydney Sibilia's Mixed by Erry (2023) Joe Wright's The Son of the Century (2023), Tony McNamara's The Great (2020), Nanni Moretti's Three Floors (2019), Valeria Golino's Euphoria (2018), Andrea Di Stefano's Bang Bang Baby (2022) and Danny Boyle's Trust. (2017). Andrea's clients include: Sky, Hulu, Fremantle, Prime Video, Fox, Netflix, The Apartment Pictures, Fandango, Indigo Film, Greenland.
