Taking steps toward the future

On Thursday May 19 at Accademia Italiana in Piazza Pitti 15, the graduating students of our school will meet with representatives of interior and graphic design agencies.

The Open Day, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, is an important event for the students' future, an opportunity to show visitors from the working world the skills they've learned from our staff of expert professionals. Students will display their projects in interior and product design, graphic design, photography and fashion design, which were recently on exhibit at the Museo Bellini and featured in the year-end fashion show at Firenze's Obihall Theater.

The Accademia Italiana has always had the future if its students at heart; it is no coincidence that the school boasts an appreciable level of outplacement. Considering it fundamental that theoretical knowledge be relevant to the requirements of the working world, the school encourages meetings and workshops both in its classrooms and at companies. The Open Day enables companies to see the skills of these young designers who are ready to face the professional world and gives them the opportunity to directly interact with them. The degree courses involved are Fashion Design, Interior and Product Design, Graphic Design and Photography.
