A new partnership has been launched between Accademia Italiana and Doimo Cucine, a company from Treviso devoted to tradition, passion and the culture of furnishing. Doimo seeks an ideal harmony between beauty, wellbeing and functionality, going beyond the logic of the single product, with projects conceived and built around people.
Through the culture of design, the sustainability of materials and the quality of technologies, every day it pursues excellence, putting itself in relation with all those who think and operate in the world of design.
It is precisely these strong values, which distinguish the company, that make the project even more challenging for the students, who are called to respond to three different briefs, working through two training courses, Design and Modelling, and with the support of the Graphic Design and Digital Modelling Techniques courses.
The first brief calls for the design of a kitchen for people with disabilities, and aims to differentiate the target audience, reminding students that not all disabilities are the same and that there is no single type of accessibility.
The second brief is to design an outdoor kitchen, an essential piece of furniture for those who love the outdoors and own a garden or large terrace. The aim is to take into consideration the type of materials to be used, to make them suitable for any climatic situation.
The third brief challenges the students with an ecological kitchen. Always sensitive to the issues of safety, ecology and well-being for the consumer, Doimo Cucine has decided to follow the most restrictive standards in terms of harmful emissions, and the objective is precisely to consider all phases of the work (production/installation/disposal) to make the project as eco-sustainable as possible.
