Showcase for young designers at the Salone Satellite in Milan

An interesting mix of design projects in the stand set up in the Satellite area of the International Furniture Fair in Milan.

The students of the Accademia Italiana, the only private school among the four Italian schools invited (40 in all) were able to catalyze the attention of numerous visitors to the fair, among them talent scouts on the alert for new talents, and many students interested in the academic programs of the Accademia Italiana.

On show new prototypes – including some scale models (a bar, bathroom furnishings, a charger for electric objects and other life-sized pieces, a lamp in led, a stand to hang clothes, a screen / room divider that doubles as a catch-all for objects, a low table, a chair, and a speaker for a sound system. The organizers noted the extremely collaborative environment created among the schools invited to show off their creativity. A real “happening” of open young designers, citizens of the world. A great success was also the “Fuori Salone” in the Jannelli & Volpi exhibition space where the wall covering company offered a show of designs prepared by the students of our school to be used as wall coverings.
