Fashion design, Interior design and Product design Masters programs in China

The Accademia Italiana signs a formal agreement to develop Masters programs for advanced studies in the areas of fashion, interior and product design.

Thanks to a collaboration agreement stipulated with the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the Accademia Italiana will be the first Italian school of fashion and design present in China.

This agreement confirms the Florence based Accademia Italiana as one of the world's leading fashion and design schools, and concerns academic aspects as well as the exchange of know-how. It also foresees the presence on site of instructors and the elaboration of specific programs.

This project, which has undergone a long period of preparation, has been officially approved by the Chinese Government and will be finalized on September 18, 2010 during a visit by the President of the Institute, Dr. Vincenzo Giubba, who will meet with the directors of the Beijing university to define the details of the operation.

The first Master's programs are scheduled to begin in September 2011.
