In Florence: new space for the Photography school

Studio for photographic poses, exhibition space and archives.

From the 2011 - 2012 Academic Year, the Accademia Italiana Department of Photography and New Media will have new classroom space for students attending the three-year bachelor's degree course.

This will involve an extension of the present workshop space located in Florence, Lungarno delle Grazie.

The new spaces will include a studio for photographic poses, as well as exhibition space and archives.

During the upcoming academic year, the Photography school at the Accademia Italiana will also propose interdisciplinary events where the students may participate on an individual level or in creative research groups, involving the other departments (fashion, graphic design, interior and product design).

For further information on the Photography courses and for enrollment, please contact the secretary's office at the Accademia Italiana.

The School's headquarters in Florence will host an Open Day for information and orientation on July 12th.

Classes begin on September 12th.
