MASTER OF FINE ARTS
The two-year Master of Arts in Contemporary Jewelry Design offers a wide range of approaches and contexts, training professional avant-garde jewelry designers. Contemporary designs coming from formal and semantic research, artisanal skills that transform into commercial, exploiting the potentials of e-commerce and social platforms in the creation of contemporary jewelry.
The program will focus on the acquisition of technical design skills as well as critical and communicative skills that lead to the promotion of experimentation, in parallel with the study of jewelry perception investigating the ethical and cultural implications in the design and construction of jewels.
The course is based on a solid design and cultural methodology, combined with a strong technical approach, allowing students to work on projects through virtual modeling and 3D printing, training professionals who know how to enhance artisanal and technological processing techniques.
Important links and collaborations with industry and institutions, provide students with opportunities to build a network of contacts during the two-year period, developing their ability to work in a team and increased awareness of the necessary skills to position themselves effectively in the professional world.
