The encounter between the students of the Accademia Italiana and Cristina Morozzi (Dr. Vincenzo Giubba, President of the A.I., as moderator) took place in Temple Leader hall.
The theme of the encounter was: "Themes and trends in contemporary design: from the tradition of Italian design towards new possible horizons".
Cristina Morozzi emphasized the role of the so-called "design couture" trend in contemporary design, which as the name implies, gets its inspiration from fashion.
Cristina Morozzi is one of the most important names in the field of contemporary design.
She works as a journalist, critic and art director. She was director for 9 years of the magazine "MODO".
She is author of a number of books on design and designers and curator of design exhibitions.
