PHOTOLUX, LEARNING THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Photolux, a workshop promoted by Canon 2018, will involve six students from the Photography Course of the Accademia Italiana.

Madalina Mancini, Valeria Castellano, Matteo Benetti, Daniele Zampini, Edoardo Carabelli and Federica Pieraccioli have been selected to participate in this workshop beginning Saturday, November 24, in Lucca and will have the opportunity to meet big names in contemporary photography such as Guia Besana, Simona Ghizzoni, Paolo Verzone, Azzura Immediate and Francesco Pistilli. The photographic mise en scene will be the theme of the first two working days under the guidance of Guia Besana. This photographer will create a creative laboratory where the students will be the directors. The following week-end, (December 1 and 2) will be led by Carla Kogelman who will help the participants to discover their own personal, intimate and individual style and Simona Ghizzoni will work with them on perfecting their skills at portrait photography, each in their own style. The third and final session of the workshop in Lucca (December 8 and 9), will be held by Paolo Verzone, Azzurra Immediato and Francesco Pistilli. The first two, tutors of Cabinet fantastique, will assist the students in working with lights applied to portrait photography and on photographic illusions with practical exercises. Francesco Pistilli, with Visual-Storytellers, will reveal the secrets of Instagram and Social Media. What does one need to know to use Instagram professionally? What kind of content can be created?
