Curiosity to understand the shape and function of things and the processes that allow their creation has always fueled my interest in design. For me, the most important aspect of (industrial) design is taking care of the details, which is what makes the difference between a common object and a design product.

French, she moved very young to the USA. In 1985, she graduated in Industrial Design (BS) at the University of Cincinnati. During the study period, she faced various internships between USA and Germany. After her studies, she returned to Europe and worked in Florence for Targetti Sankey, where she developed the design of interior lamps, including the "Structurella" system selected for the 1989 “golden compass” award exhibition. Subsequently, she collaborated with 2 design consultancies: G-14 of Milan, where she followed the technical development of an open-space office system, and the Emilio Ambasz Design Group of Bologna, where she developed office chairs and other minor projects. After this period of collaborations, she began working as a freelance designer for several companies in various sectors. In 2004 she began her teaching experience at Accademia Italiana of Florence.
