Daniele Semeraro, graduate of the Interior and Product Design program, conquers the States
"Nearly ten years have gone by since I studied here, but it seems like yesterday," relates Daniele Semeraro, graduate of the Interior and Product Design program at the Accademia Italiana.
Of Swedish and Italian origins, Daniele, after his studies in Florence decided to move to California, taking with him his experiences and cultural baggage.
His motto is: "unite Swedish simplicity and functionality with Italian elegance."
His series of glasses, called "Cupa, glass series" has already conquered the North American market. The idea came out of an accident (the breaking of the stand in a wine chalice) that has already become a design icon.
The product he invented is now sold in the most important design shops in the USA, including Michael C. Fina on New York's Fifth Avenue and Ronrobinson in Los Angeles.
