Saturday, September 8 the Accademia Italiana prepares for the closing events of the artistic contest launched by the famous Tequila brand Jose Curevo to create a logo dedicated to Modern Mexican Art.

The project, launched last May, involved the students in the Graphic design program, and began with a presentation of the brand in class offered by managers of the company who then left the students to develop their projects based on the professional suggestions.

The name of the winning student will be revealed on September 8 in Florence during the “Cuervo Vertical Stage”, a free concert offered by Jose Cuervo where the famous rapper Willie Peyote will be on stage in a single performance from the towers of the “Spiaggia Urbana” (Urban Beach).

To open this special event there will be a meeting at noon on the same day, where the students of the Accademia Italiana, along with a select group of fans, will meet the rapper at the Accademia Italiana headquarters in Piazza Pitti.

This meeting will be dedicated to a group discussion on the theme of talent and creativity, within the artistic frame of the collection of art works produced by the students participating in the contest.

A cocktail offered by Tequila Jose Cuervo will follow, then off to the banks of the Arno River for an evening of music.
