A helping hand to the National Cancer Association by the Windows Display Design students at the Accademia Italiana.

In the last few days, the team headed by Prof. Silvia Faggioni, decorated the ballrooms in Palazzo Borghese in preparation for the three-day gala charity shopping event.

The first floor of the palace in Via Ghibellina 110 has been transformed into a big charity boutique where clothing, accessories and leather goods donated by over 90 fashion companies, ranging from Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Bulgari, Emilio Pucci, Ermanno Scervino, Braccialini, Gianfranco Lotti to Montblanc, are on offer to the public for the purpose of collecting funds in favour of ANT (National Cancer Association) that each day provides home assistance to cancer patients.

The Merc’ANT has been organised by the ANT cancer delegation in Florence with the support of Florence City Council. The students from the Accademia Italiana have covered the tables with delicately nuanced rose coloured brocade cloths and decorated the Christmas tree with cream and red cherry coloured bows
