Roberto Di Costanzo (Formia, 1985) is an illustrator, portraitist, painter and teacher. After attending the Accademia di Belle Arti of Rome he graduates at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in costume, scenography and interior design for cinema, helped by his mentor and teacher Piero Tosi. Then, he begins to work as an illustrator for many Italian and foreign publishing houses like Azimut and Editions Nomades. After many collective and solo exhibitions in Italy he presents his works at Espace Pierre Cardin on invitation from Master Pierre Cardin himself and enters the world of French collectors. His works are then exposed at Casa dell’Architettura of Rome, Institut Français - Centre Saint-Louis and during the 71st Venice Film Festival at the Venice Biennale where he pays homage to Federico Fellini with a series of Indian ink illustrations inspired to his movies. Roberto Di Costanzo’s works have now reached many private collections and his carnet de voyage edited by Editions Nomades are also distributed worldwide in the seven Maison Vuitton’s libraries. His last exhibitions of June 2018 have been “Tributo a Milano” at Galleria Maiocchi15 in Milan and “Rome rencontre Paris” at Galerie de La Sablière in Paris.
